Films - Behind-the-Scenes

The Hostage Behind-the-Scenes

These photos are some of the behind-the-scenes shots in the making of the film, The Hostage.

This is Judah preparing for his role, just before he threatens Asa and I with the gun.

This was the chair scene, "If you would like to untie us, it would be all right."  Time and time again, we tried to film this scene, while Asa and I manufactured more and more scratches and bruises from the "test falls."

Asa waiting for his part.

This is me, strapped back to back with Asa, preparing for the scene.

This is the 7d!  Ryan was filming at the time.

Judah and Ryan playing around with the settings and getting the scene right.

This is the garage we filmed in.  Low lighting huh?  Haha, barely a pixel in the film!

And finally this is Asa and I strapped to the chair.  We spent a full hour in such a position!  You might say "Such devotion!" yet this is only a small part to movie making.

I hope those of you who are reviewing these shots enjoy getting to see a bit of the behind-the-scenes pictures.  Hopefully we will be doing more of this.

P.S.  The EyeKey Productions team is preparing for another film.  The filming hasn't started yet, but it will soon be in process.

Slow Motion Film Behind-the-Scenes

The photos below were taken during a short film playing with slow motion.

This is Judah awaiting his role on a step ladder.  You might wonder "Why the ladder?"  An action episode took place on the roof, of which we had to jump off into a pool below.  You can imagine what fun that was!

This is Ryan looking over the previous clip on a camcorder.

Once again, this is Judah on the step ladder with Ryan filming him.

This is one of the action scenes on the roof.  The rope was attached to the cameraman (Asa in this case) to keep him from slipping or falling from the roof.  Safety was a precaution!

This is Asa, Judah, and Ryan reviewing the previous clip.

This was another shot of the action scene on the roof.

All of these pictures were photographed by me with the Canon 400D.  That answers the question of my absence.
