Intricate Simplicity

  1. Again, I love how it's so simple, but the lighting gives it an extra touch that realy makes the photo good!
Keeping my eyes peeled for more!

  3. I was just over on your 365 photos page. Awesome, Connor! I love your eye for simple subjects and nature's random surprises. My favorites would be the droplet on the leaf, the "forgotten button" and the clumps of moss. It's especially cool how you can focus on one area with the background blurred!
    Keep it up!

  6. I love what you've done with this simple object, Con! I particularly like how the light is bokeh-ish in the background and there is also light reflected on the table.
I don't want to sound harsh or anything; but, at the end of the day, it's still only a spoon. I know you don't have a lot of time... but perhaps try shooting something that means something to you personally. (Again, don't take that the wrong way. Just trying to give helpful criticism.)
Looking forward to more photos as always! :)

  7. Hey Lara! That's exactly what I thought. The reason I posted it was because of the light. The spoon was just something to give it depth. It was just a test shot shooting into the reflection of the sun.

By the way, thank you everyone for commenting! I really appreciation your encouragement and suggestions.
